There are many people involved in the running and organisation of Gym Mania Gymnastics including:

Sarah Oxley- Head Coach

Sarah is Head Coach at Gym Mania. Sarah is a British Gymnastics Club Coach in both Pre-School Gymnastics, Club Coach in General Gymnastics, Level 3 Cheerleading stunts and cheers and Assistant Coach in Womens Artistic Gymnastics. She has also been a Regional Judge. Sarah is in addition a qualified Primary School teacher (PGCE with SEN specialism).

Colin Darlow- Chairperson

Colin is the chairperson of the club. He was first introduced to the club when he worked at Poulton Youth and Community Centre where the club is based.

Marielyn Oxley - Administrator

Marielyn is Sarah's mum and on Saturday and Sunday's deals with the club administration and fees. Her role is invaluable!

Ken Oxley- Treasurer

Ken is Sarah's dad and is the club treasurer.

Sarah Jackson (nee Coulter)- Child Protection and Welfare Officer

Sarah is our club Child Protection and Welfare Officer. Sarah used to help at Gym Mania but due to being at University studying Music moved to Liverpool. As our CPWO Sarah is not directly involved in the coaching of the club and so is completely objective with regards any CP issues. She can be contacted on 07949905605.

Jayd Neilson- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1 and Volunteer Co-ordinator

Jayd is a British Gymnastics qualified Assistant Coach and has been helping at Gym Mania since 2007. Jayd has recently completed her higher education courses in Health Care and Social Work.

Michelle Lacken- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1

Michelle is a British Gymnastics qualified Assistant Coach and has been helping at Gym Mania since 2006. Michelle is currently at University studying Law but comes back to Gym Mania in the university holidays especially when she starts her PGCE in Primary Teaching in 2012.

Jade Barker- Award Scheme Coach

Jade is a British Gymnastics qualified Helper and Award Scheme Coach and has been helping at Gym Mania since 2006. Jade is currently at Blackpool and Fylde College studing Pathway to Teaching and is on maternity leave from Gym Mania.

Meghan Clarkson- Award Scheme Coach

Meghan is an ex-competitive gymnast from Garstang School of Gymnastics and is a British Gymnastics qualified Helper and has been helping at Gym Mania since 2008. Meghan is also a qualified Award Scheme Coach.Meghan is currently at university at Liverpool but we hope she will still be back in the holidays.

Amy Giles- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1 and Volunteer Co-ordinator

Amy is a British Gymnastics qualified Helper and qualified Assistant Coach and has been helping at Gym Mania since 2006.Amy is currently at Blackpool and Fylde College studying Drama. She is a qualified Assistant Coach UKCC Level 1. Amy is also our club Volunteer co-ordinator.

Sarah Spindler- Award Scheme Coach

Sarah is an ex-gymnast and is a qualified Award Scheme Coach at Gym Mania, helping since Spring 2009. Sarah is currently in her first year of A-Levels at Blackpool Sixth Form. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Megan Nesbit- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1

Megan is a a qualified Award Scheme Coach at Gym Mania, helping since Spring?2009. She is currently in her second year of A-Levels at Blackpool Sixth Form before going to univserity in 2012 to study Primary School teaching. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach and is a qualified Assistant Coach UKCC Level 1.

Elise Davidson- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1

Elise is a British Gymnastics qualified Assistant Coach and has been helping at Gym Mania since Winter 2009 and is currently in her second year of A-levels at Blackpool Sixth Form. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach and is a qualified Assistant Coach UKCC Level 1.

Emily Shea- Award Scheme Coach

Emily is an ex-gymnast from Gym Mania, deciding when she was 13 nearly 14 to stop participating in gymnatics but now focus on coaching. She has been a member of Gym Mania since 2007 then has been helping at Gym Mania since Summer 2009 and is currently studying for  her GCSE's. She is qualified as an Award Scheme Coach. We hope that when Emily turns 16 she will complete her Assistant Coach UKCC Level 1.

Kevin Wan- Award Scheme Coach

Kevin has been helping at Gym Mania since Spring 2010 but is currently at university. We hope he will be back in the holidays. He is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Chloe Brigham- Award Scheme Coach

Emily is an ex-gymnast from Gym Mania, deciding to have a break from gymnastics when she was 12. However when she was 14 she came back to now focus on coaching. She has been a member of Gym Mania since 2006 then has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2010 and is at school at Baines studying for her GCSE's. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Jenni Bardsley- Assistant Coach- UKCC Level 1

Jenni is an ex-gymnast from Thornton Sport Gymnastics and is a British Gymnastics qualified Assistant Coach. She has been helping at Gym Mania since Spring 2010 and has just completed her GCSE's at Arnold School. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach and is a qualified Assistant Coach UKCC Level 1.

Abi Heaton- Award Scheme Coach

Abi has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2010 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Baines.She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Amy Berry- Award Scheme Coach

Amy has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2010 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Baines.She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Chloe Pitt- Award Scheme Coach

Chloe has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2010 and is currently at school studying for her A-Levels at Arnold.She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Bethany Miller- Award Scheme Coach

Bethany is a current gymnast at Gym Mania since 2009. She is currently still at school at Montgomery and is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Hope Miller- Award Scheme Coach

Hope is a current gymnast at Gym Mania since 2009. She is currently still at school at Mysercough College and is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Hollie Gregory- Award Scheme Coach

Hollie has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2010 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Baines. She is qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Grace Greighton- Award Scheme Coach

Grace is a current gymnast at Gym Mania since 2006 and was a trainee helper at Gym Mania since Summer 2009. She is currently still at school at Hodgson and is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Anna Hood- Award Scheme Coach

Anna has been helping at Gym Mania since Summer 2011 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Arnold School. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Ashleigh Reid

Ashleigh has been helping at Gym Mania since Spring 2011 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Baines School. She will hopefully be completing her Award Scheme Coaching course soon.

Sophie Webster- Award Scheme Coach

Sophie is an ex-gymnast from Thornton Sport Gymnastics and has been helping at Gym Mania since Spring 2011 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at Montgomery.

Stephanie Hayward- Award Scheme Coach

Steph is a gymnast at St. Annes Y.M.C.A. Acrobatic gymnastics has been helping at Gym Mania since Summer 2011 and is currently at school studying for her GCSE's at St. Bead's Catholic School.She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach

Chloe McAnenna- Award Scheme Coach

Chloe is a current gymnast at Gym Mania since 2007 and is a trainee helper at Gym Mania since Spring 2010. She is currently still at school at St. George's and working through the Gym Mania volunteer coaching and helper support programme. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Kayleigh Ward- Award Scheme Coach and Primary School Teacher

Kayleigh is new to coaching at Gym Mania. As a local primary school teacher she wanted to develop her PE skills and gymnastics knowledge and so has started volunteering at the club. We hope Kayleigh learns lots of new skills and enjoys her time with us.

Franchesca Horner- Award Scheme Coach

Franchesca has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2011 and is currently at school at Baines School. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Rachel Uttley- Award Scheme Coach

Rachel has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2011, a former gymnast from Thornton Sport Gymnastics she wanted to give 'fun' to gymnastics rather than elite gymnastics and is currently at school at Baines School. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Sophie Brown- Award Scheme Coach

Sophie has been helping at Gym Mania since Autumn 2011 and is currently at school at Baines School. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Sophie Worsley- Award Scheme Coach

Sophie has been helping at Gym Mania since Summer 2011 and is currently at school in London. She is a qualified Award Scheme Coach.

Mini-Helpers

We also have mini-helpers within the classes who are currrent gymnasts over the age of 10 who are interested in becoming coaches as they get older within the club. These mini-helpers work alongside the coaches assisting with skill preparation work and conditioning. Current mini-helpers include:
